… I just have to share this with you. I’m not a knitter, but a crocheter – and am not so sure that I deserve to even say that about myself, given that what I mostly crochet is long strips of things to give away to family and friends… (I have, however, bought a pattern for a vest which I hope to work on in the relative quiet of the next few weeks here in Maine.)

As an avid fan of NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” (and yes, I must admit it, it’s often my only source of information about current events – or at least that was the case while I was in Cambodia and Vietnam) I must share this with you.

On yesterday’s show they replayed excerpts from past shows having to do with animals. What I’d like anyone who reads this and is a knitter to do is go to the link for the show:

… and listen to the first few minutes. You’ll hear what’s going on immediately.

For the visual confirmation of the results of the hooha, watch this video

Go, Ravelry, that’s what I say! :-)

In other news, the Perkins/Osborn/Etcetera clan has dissipated, I’m the only visitor left. Jane will be going back to work, the rain has begun again, and so I shall PERHAPS find time this week to blog again. So au revoir, and back soon!
